The project was made in Unity 2021.3 and uses URP to render the game with the best performance

THIRD PERSON MOVEMENT
• I coded a rigidbody-based movement with unity's built-in character controller
• Used Inverse Kinematics for the player's hands to hold weapons properly
• Added health to player, with each bullet hitting the player's collider decreasing the health
• Input is handled by Unity's new Input System
• Dynamic walk and run animation which blends based on movement speed, along with death animation

WEAPONS MANAGER
• Made a script that holds all the data about each weapon, including ammo, reload time, fire time, etc.
• Screen for the player to select a weapon, with each level having a bonus on a specific weapon
• Rigidbody-based bullets with particles for better immersion and realism
• When an RPG missile explodes it affects all the near players and enemies

CROSS-PLATFORM INPUT
• Designed touch buttons with a joystick for movement
• The game detects which platform it's running on and enables/disables touch input (can be overridden)

RANDOMLY GENERATED LEVELS
• To generate levels, the game loops through a random room size and generates random walls and floor
• After that, enemies and obstacles are spawned randomly in the level area
• Each level generated includes a number of enemies (at least 1)
• To finish the level you have to kill all the enemies

PC LEVEL EDITOR
• I had to create a file-based save and load system for importing and exporting level files
• There's a menu which includes all the objects that can be spawned
• Ability to add, and remove objects
• When exporting a level, it's saved to a file in the documents folder and can be shared with other users
• The game detects if it's not on PC and disables the level editor button from the main menu

STAND-STILL NPCS
• Since NPCs were requested to be standing, they only had to be spawned and aim at the player
• They have the same weapons as the player which makes the game fair
• NPCs only fire at the player when they see the player
• NPCs are affected by bullets, which means during combat NPCs may kill each other

IN-GAME STORE
• Requested to only have player customization
• Automatically spawns buttons and assigns each button data
• Displays an overlay to indicate whether this player is purchased, selected, or how much it costs
• Connects to the game's coins manager easily and checks if there's enough coins before purchasing

ADDITIONAL
• Loading Manager: which changes tips and images each time, and shows the loading progress
• Tabs: Located in the main menu which makes navigation easier and more intuitive
• Menu Animation: Tweening is used to make sure menu animation doesn't affect game performance
• Score and Stars: In the finish screen, stars are shown depending on objectives finished
• Notch Support: Detects the phones that has a notch and scales the UI to fit in the safe zone
• Simple Settings: Includes audio sliders, links to social media pages, and the current game version
